I purchased this for a new business and it proved to be the best, giving me high quality results and it is very cost effective. It has the speed to copy about 12 copies per minute which gives an average of up to 7,500 copies per month. This amount is a lot as compared to other machines so this is the reason why it is perfect to use for professional and business purposes. The Konica 1212 comes in a compact desktop design which is able to fit in the most space-challenged rooms in an office. Its features include zoom reduction and enlargement from 60% to 165% in 1% increments. This copier has the ability to process original documents and copies from an invoice to a ledger size.

This copier is completely environment friendly as it also comes with energy saving features. It has a power requirement of about 230V AC, 50Hz and the main unit consumes about 1300W of maximum power. It weighs about 37.5kg which is the weight of the main unit alone. It accepts original single sheets, books and three dimensional objects for scanning and copying and the copy paper can be an offset, master, transparencies, labels etc. When turning on the copier you have to allow it to warm up for about a minute. The first copy takes about 7.5 seconds and the tray can hold up to 250 sheets at one time. It has an OPC drum, development dry dual component, a magnetic brush system and a heated roller fixing.

The Konica 1212 has very low decibel levels as well as ozone levels and is an organic photoconductor which has toner recycling capabilities. The copier machine uses one of the longest lasting organic photoreceptors available and has the ability to yield 60,000 copies. The toner has the ability to output 7,500 copies in one cartridge or five months of use at an average volume of 1,500 copies in a month. There are many toner cartridges available for this machine out there which last longer than normal ink cartridges. Toners are in the form of powder and a closed toner cartridge can be stored for about two years prior to usage. So due to its high yield or output this copier will be perfect to use in an office environment where there are so many documents to take care of with little time on everybody’s hands.
