Here's an easy tips if your laser printer is giving you problems. It might be an insignificant problem, which you will be able to fix with no problems at all. Here are a few tips with respect to fixing a laser printer.

Clean it regularly: don’t just clean the laser printer when its giving you problem’s but clean it regularly; both from the inside and the outside. If your printer is giving you problems than clean it with a small vacuum or by using compressed air. Remember to remove the fuser assembly during this process.



The Nature of the Problem: while troubleshooting, it’s important that you determine the nature of the problem. Then you can attend the specific problem area. For this you could always take a look at the status message area of the laser printer. If there is an error code, it means there is a problem.

Going through the Manual: to understand the specific errors you will need to go through the service manual. The service manual has details on each of the error messages and also gives information about the corrective measures.

In case of Paper Jams: this is one of the simplest of troubleshooting problems. More often than not the reason is a worn roller or the blockage of the paper path by dirt etc. At times, a user does not install the paper properly or the paper is worn out. This causes paper jams.
